As a design professional and artist, I can’t stress enough the transformative power of generative AI. Beyond crafting beautiful imagery as a hobby, it’s a versatile tool that can elevate the entire design process. I often integrate my own artwork with AI for Trendevolve, a practice I’ve kept relatively quiet about until now. Today, I felt compelled to share this with my fellow creatives for a couple of reasons: First, there’s still a lot of fear surrounding AI and its impact on our jobs. MPOV: let’s work smarter so we can have more time for creativity and to spend time with loved ones. Second, we’ve entered a new chapter where simply writing prompts isn’t enough. MPOV: You don’t have to give up your authentic creative process or style. AI is a tool and you can combine various mediums with it. Third, there still seems to be some confusion about its relevance to real-world applications. MPOV: Stick with ai long enough to get good at it and then you will begin to see how it can be useful to you and your work.
