I grew up always wanting to see people like me on screen, but Indians were limited to stereotypical characters like Apu on the Simpson’s. Today youtube has unlocked a world of perspectives and an opportunity for Indian creatives to tell a diverse set of stories. An opportunity for kids like me to see themselves on screen, thanks to creators like the ones in this photo.
