When I was at Film School, I thought that would be my golden ticket into the industry...

But even there — getting on set was still a struggle.

So 7years ago,  I created a Facebook group called Find a Production Assistant – Los Angeles to help people (myself included) get that foot in the door. That was 7 years ago. 

Today, that group has nearly 9,000 members — and plenty of people are landing their first gigs.

No one really teaches you how to be a great Production Assistant. You’re just expected to know. 

I didn’t. 

I learned by watching, listening, failing quietly, and figuring it out on the fly.
