A rare and stunning sight, this rare leucistic white peacock stands out with its milky-white body and subtle hints of colour in its feathers. Unlike the more commonly seen blue peafowl, leucism is a natural condition that results in reduced pigmentation, making such birds incredibly uncommon, seen in only about 1 in 30,000 births. Native to India and revered as the country’s national bird, this peacock appears almost ethereal, reminding us of the quiet wonders nature still holds.
