The Portland, Oregon area is lucky to have Dr. Nell Ostermeier as a resident. She is not only an expert in the field of #IntegrativeVeterinaryMedicine but also an exceptional human and selfless caregiver to all animals. Dr.Nell is very skilled in #HolisticAnimalWellness but also the strategy of knowing how to combine #WesternMedicine when needed. Dr.Nell received her Doctorate from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2004 and has been incorporating veterinary acupuncture and integrative therapies since 2010. She is a certified veterinary acupuncturist (CVA) and has become a leader in the field of integrative medicine. Nell is an educator for the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS)  and lectures at conferences across the U.S and internationally. In 2019 she earned FAAVA status, an advanced certification achieved by fewer than 30 veterinarians in the world, analogous to board certification in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. We are honored that Dr.Nell recognized how quality our product was but also saw how important the education factor is in order to achieve success with Cannabinoids. Dr.Hempdog is proud to be able to support her and her clients with this proper knowledge. 

Our community should know that Dr.Nell does virtual visits so she can be an accessible resource for anyone out there in need of a very skilled holistic vet’s knowledge. As many of you know Dr.Hempdog highly recommends having a good holistic vet as part of your animal’s wellness routine. Dr.Nell has over 15 years of experience helping dogs, horses, cats, rabbits, turtles and plenty of other animals with a particularly BIG soft spot for #SeniorsAnimals and animals with chronic disease. - We can relate maybe that’s why it was a natural fit from the start for Dr.Hempdog and Dr. Nell! 😉
