Finn started using Dr.Hempdog 1½ years ago with proper success as a puppy because he was having trouble adjusting to city life (see him on an older post Jan 2019). More recently, he and his Mom moved outside of their city post-pandemic. The change to his daily routine was challenging, and now Finn is an adult, so we assisted his Mom Ann in updating his dosage. And Ann reports yet again that Dr.Hempdog has helped get this new anxiety under control. Finn is such a great dog and his Mom is such a great human, they deserve the best! (DHD Canine Anxiety Tip) Be very aware of your dog’s daily routines as a change can throw them off.  If you do make a big change make sure to spend time with your dog helping them adjust.  Think about a new activity or place you can play with them.  Talking to them and letting them know you understand they are having difficulty adjusting can be very helpful. Think about it, some dog behavioral changes can be attributed to change in environment (even if it is a positive one) and if they know they are being heard it will give them a lot more comfort.
