Rudy’s Testimonial: 
When Rudy’s Mom Marliynn originally reached out to us last year this is what she shared about Rudy’s situation: 
(SEPT 2019) “He has some arthritis. Can no longer jump onto the bed and has slowed down chasing squirrels etc. Still active, we walk everyday but want some relief for him.”

DHD SENIOR DOG TIP - As our dogs age, most (if not all) start to get some arthritis.  They instinctively hide their discomfort. Be aware that it may be better to lift them in and out of the car instead of letting them jump in and out.  If using stairs make sure they are carpeted especially the bottom step!  If stairs are not suitable for them any more consider blocking them with a baby gate so they don’t get tempted. Don’t force them to jump off the couch or bed (if allowed😁) like they used to.  Just be conscious that they may need a helping hand as they age.  If you have any questions or we can lend any advice please reach out to us. We are here to help!
