I always wanted to be a mom my entire life.

But in that moment I remember thinking:

I don’t know how I’m going to do this.

Not “this will be hard.”
Not “we’ll figure it out.”
I genuinely did not know how I was going to be a good mom to four little kids.

When the twins came, it was just… a lot.

The mental load was constant.
Always thinking about what had to be done.
What I had to do next.
What I was forgetting.

It took a lot out of me.
