Grief and I don’t get along. Avoidance is typically how I deal with things. So naturally I escaped to the mountains this weekend (thank you Auntie Mo) because of how depressing home feels without her. I really wasn’t expecting it to hurt this bad, but the guilt & sadness could swallow me whole if it could. But I’m thankful for a weekend of fresh air & prayer. The world feels so heavy with all the awful things happening and I’m holding space for that too. 🙏🏻

Thank you to everyone who’s reached out, showed up, helped out, and sat with us through this. I haven’t had the energy to respond but we are so grateful. She really was so loved❤️
