As we close out Black History Month… my heart is FULL. 🤎✨

PENELOPE WAS ANGELA DAVIS FOR HER PROGRAM❤️

Penelope didn’t just learn about history — she CONSISTENTLY EXPERIENCES excellence.

She had her photo op with the President of Morehouse College.

Let that sink in.

As we wrapped up Black History Month, she stood in rooms filled with parents, grandparents, leaders, and legacy. She participated in an incredible Black History program with her friends — and what I love most is that this isn’t a one-time moment for her.

This is her norm.

Her school allows her to be surrounded by excellence on a daily basis. She sees it. She touches it. She interacts with it.

She sees judges.
She sees doctors.
She sees attorneys.
She sees educators.
She sees business owners.
She sees leaders.

And guess what?
She sees them in the carpool line.
At school events.
In real life.

Not just in textbooks.

That matters.

Because when excellence becomes your environment, it becomes your expectation.

I’m raising a little girl who doesn’t question whether she belongs in powerful rooms — because she’s BEEN in powerful rooms. She doesn’t question if she can lead — because she’s seen leaders who look like her. She doesn’t question if all things are possible.

She KNOWS they are.

Black History Month isn’t just about honoring the past.
It’s about positioning our children for the future.

Exposure builds confidence.
Representation builds belief.
Proximity builds vision.

And baby… Penelope’s vision is BIG. 🚀✨
