I know it’s the holy day, but here’s the truth: I lie… a LOT. I probably can sell a cow to a carpenter right now😂
I agree when I don’t agree.
I say yes when my heart is screaming no.
I nod along when I want to correct.
Why? Because in dementia care, truth doesn’t always heal.

Agreeing keeps the peace.
Saying yes avoids confusion.
A small “lie” can protect them from frustration or heartbreak.

They call it “therapeutic fibbing”… I call it survival. 😂
