When you only had enough for… 😅 Alex and I are making it do what it do cause, let’s face it, making a house feel like a home doesn’t happen overnight. So dining chairs in the living room it is!!

Buying a home has been one of the most rewarding and humbling journey of my life. I’ve learned:
💡 You can’t do it all at once. Social media makes it feel like you have to move in and have your home fully decorated the next day, but I’m learning to embrace the process instead of rushing it.
💡 Mistakes happen. I didn’t vet certain tradesmen properly and tried to move too fast. A costly mistake now I know better—it’s about quality, not speed.
💡 Gratitude matters. Yes, it’s a financial undertaking, and yes, there are challenges, but I refuse to let those take away from the gratitude I feel. This is a milestone I’ve prayed for, and I’m trusting God to carry me through every step of the journey.

Over the next year, I’m excited to bring you along as we turn this house into a home—one project, one room, one lesson at a time. No pressure, no rushing—just grace for the process and gratitude for the privilege. 🙌🏾
