I can’t believe this was my first time at Santo Market in Japantown. I’ve heard so many good things and it was SO GOOD. The girls and I were obsessed.

There’s no seating, so we grabbed our food and drove down a few blocks to a park to eat and let the girls play with Baby No Limit. Honestly, this was the perfect setup.

The poke bowls were super simple. Just fresh poke, rice, and furikake. Nothing over the top, but the island flavors were on point and packed with so much flavor. It instantly reminded me of my all-time favorite poke bowls from Ono Seafood in Oahu.

Baby No Limit went with the kalua pork plate. It was solid, but I felt like it needed something fresh and crisp like shredded cabbage to balance out the rich, savory pork.

Either way, I’m 1000000% coming back for more poke.
