Telangana Formation Day – A Home, A Legacy, A Purpose.

The day Telangana became a separate state was a moment of conflicting emotions-uncertainty, a sense of loss, and a profound shift in identity. With roots in Vijayawada, AP but 25 years of life in Hyderabad, I felt torn. The separation from Andhra Pradesh carried weight, leaving me emotionally unsettled. But over time, understanding replaced hesitation, and I saw clearly why this fight was necessary. Telangana’s struggle was never about division it was about identity, about securing its own future, its resources, and its rightful recognition. 

Today, I stand in deep gratitude for the land I call mine for Hyderabad, the city that shaped me, for the communities that welcomed me, and for the spirit of Telangana that continues to inspire. Representing a Telangana-based NGO, I feel honored to contribute, even in small ways, to the state’s growth and betterment. The sacrifices of leaders, students, and martyrs were not just battles of the past they paved the path for the aspirations we strive to fulfill today. 

As we celebrate this day, I reflect on the journey the doubts that turned into conviction, the struggle that became strength, and the state that is, and always will be, home. Jai Telangana! 🌿✨ #telanganaformationday
