This dish is knock-your-socks-off delicious and unbelievably easy to make. Just add everything to a casserole dish, pop it in the oven, and let it bake. The aroma that fills your home will have everyone asking when dinner is ready.
For flavor, I always add @betterthanbouillon chicken base,  it’s a staple in my kitchen and something I use in almost every recipe. It adds such a rich depth of flavor. And for the optional mustard twist, I love using @frenchs yellow mustard. It gives the sauce a subtle tang that works beautifully with the lemon.

This recipe brings back some of my happiest childhood memories.
�Growing up, our Greek community didn’t gather for church on Sundays because our priest lived in another city. Instead, once a month he would drive three hours to be with us, and we would gather on a random Wednesday evening for service followed by a big communal meal.
Every Greek mother brought a homemade dish filled with love and tradition.

My mom was incredibly busy raising us, driving us to endless sports practices, and working at our family restaurant — so this was always her go-to meal. Don’t mistake the 10 minutes of prep for laziness or simplicity… this dish is truly remarkable.
