Yesterday, we thought we were on the brink of a breakthrough. Congress had included six critical pieces of legislation in the year-end bipartisan spending bill that would have been life-changing for children battling cancer. These provisions would have:
- Expanded treatment options.
- Allowed children on Medicaid to receive out-of-state care.
- Incentivized companies to develop life-saving drugs for pediatric cancer.

This was progress, and it gave us hope.

But in a stunning display of political chaos and cruelty, Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and Speaker Mike Johnson decided to kill that funding.

Let me be clear: This is more than unacceptable—it’s inhumane.
These decisions are being made by people who will never have to worry about affording healthcare for their kids. For them, this is a political game. For our community, it’s life and death.

This is not just outrageous—it’s dangerous. Every delay, every funding cut, and every political stunt means fewer resources for families already fighting impossible battles.

The fight against childhood cancer is not a partisan issue—it’s a human issue. We owe it to the 43 children diagnosed every day to demand better.

📣 So take action. Share this post. Call your representatives. Flood their offices with calls and emails. Hold Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson, and every single lawmaker accountable for putting politics above children’s lives.

Together, we will keep fighting. Because to them this might be politics, but to us, this is personal.
