Did you know you could be earning more on your savings? Just like most of the F1 Miami fans I interviewed at the Miami Grand Prix, most people leave their money in traditional bank savings accounts with places like Wells Fargo or Bank of America—earning just 0.10% interest. That’s practically nothing!

If you’re serious about growing your money, you’ve got to explore higher-yield options like high-yield savings accounts (HYSA), certificates of deposit (CDs), investments in the stock market, or even annuities

Last week, I worked with Gainbridge, and I think their savings products are great for medium-term planning.

My husband and I will be allocating a $10-20K into their Fastbreak product—a fixed multi-year annuity offering a guaranteed 5.5% APY for 5 years. There’s no market risk, which is helpful since 50% of our net worth is in the stock market (and let’s be real—it’s been VERY volatile lately).

The only tradeoff? Our money is locked in for the full term, which is why we’re using it as a kids’ daycare fund— something we don’t need now but will need in a couple of years!

Here’s how I personally think about my savings strategy:
☔️ Short-term savings (like my emergency fund): in a high-yield savings account
👵🏼Long-term savings (like retirement): in my 401(k)
👧🏻Medium-term savings (like a future family fund): with Gainbridge Fastbreak for guaranteed interest with NO market risk

Comment “Grow” if you want to learn more about smarter ways to save and see how much you can earn with a 5% APY!

Not financial advice—just what’s working for me!
