I didn’t realise this about India until I lived in Thailand.

Not about money. Not about lifestyle.
It was about how differently I started feeling as a person.

For the first time, I felt… unseen in a good way.No one trying to place me. No one measuring me.
No silent hierarchy attached to what I do.

And that made me reflect on something uncomfortable.

Back home, we’re taught (often without realising) to rank people by profession, income, religion, and social labels. I didn’t notice how deeply this had shaped me until I stepped outside India.

What stayed with me most from Thailand wasn’t the place. It was the feeling of being treated like a human first.

That experience made me ask myself:
How often do I do this too?
Who do I subconsciously give more respect to?
Who do I overlook?

Real change doesn’t start with big systems.
It starts with awareness. With small daily choices. With how we treat people when there’s nothing to gain.
