Lmao the delusion was strong. How wild that I couldn’t see how good I looked and more importantly, how fine I was, just as I was. 🫠

ANYWAY. 

All my school life I was never good at art. Like reallly terrible. I couldn’t draw. My art homework was proudly substituted to someone in the family (yay to big families—always had an artist for rescue lol).

Then I joined Uni and felt this wave of panic! Oh no. I don’t have any “special talent” lmao. 

Hello there, imposter syndrome. 

Imagine an 18-year-old girl stepping into the most happening university in the country (not up for debate, these are 2011 facts). 

Delhi University North Campus is bae and I won’t hear anything against it 💅🏽

Me—the very average high school kid who studied one night before the exam and still did okay. 

The one always found in the school auditorium doing some stupid silly shenanigan—winning debates, elocutions, spelling bees, drama. Forever the English topper. Sometimes Geography. Always a “Sociology is important.” And still… I felt like a LOSER. All those three years. Like literally.

Just a reminder: YOU ARE ENOUGH AS YOU ARE. 

This post is more for me than anyone else. #selfreminders 

Learn new things, nerd out on your hobbies, grow your skills—but please stop downplaying what you already bring to the table. 

Mental health over every damn thing. Every. Single. Time. 💛
