My Twitter era was brutal.
A wild mix of virality, voice, rape threats (yes)—and violence. This is true for every woman on social media today. Especially if you question the government.

Welcome to Social Media 101 📲
We start with Twitter (nope, not calling it X). Musk didn’t rebrand it—he wrecked it.

As an ex-journalist, I lived through trolling, abuse & silent shadow bans.

What is Shadow banning?
When your posts vanish without a trace. You’re not banned, just buried.

⚠️ Why political posts disappear:
Platforms confuse truth with danger. Say too much = you’re ghosted.

💬 If it happens:
– Appeal (lol)
– Reword
– Diversify platforms
– Keep receipts.

🧵 Why journos suffer more:
Because power hates exposure—and punishes the ones telling the story.
