Celebrating little BIG things ❤️while appreciating it ALL 🙏 
9 months ago I broke my (dominant) right hand and thumb in 2 places and tore the tendon that makes a hand actually grip and work ....you could not have convinced me that I could live without my right hand  and still function in the world.... and here I am ...I did it 🏆6 months of excruciating  PT with goal to hold a full bottle of water and pour with a strong grip and no pain.... I was able to do it yesterday for the first time...... 

 learned so much about myself , my psyche and the world - now appreciate everything  in a new way. 

A fiercely independent soul who  could not function "normally"  and now in serious pain .I learned how to SLOOOOWWW down  and find specks of joy in a heavy  clunky itchy cast , use  a phone & mouse with only my left hand , how to ask for and receive help on every level 😱couldn't cut or prepare my own food,  dress myself , button or zip anything 😳, bathe , open  or unlock a  door , open a lid , lift anything , drive a car and  all basic things that we  all tend to take for granted. 

I was able to dig deep , shift and reframe it all - tap into grace and gusto to complete the design and build of 2  beach resorts ,  5  retail stores , still manage care for my dying dad and gain SERIOUS awareness  and  new level of  gratitude in the process.

Thank you universe and whew 2024 ... you have been one hell of a HARD year with bittersweet rewards ❤️
