MASTERCLASS:Join us with rope extraordinaire Erika Radcliffe thisiserikarad for a 3 day workshop covering all things rope! With a heavy focus on technical work, this workshop will take a look at everything from shoulder mechanics, preventative therapy, and conditioning for the shoulders, to the basics of strength and dynamics on rope, to more advanced skills like scorpions, advanced beats, rollups, flares, and dynamic half release and release skills. Bring your tape, rosin, muscles, and calluses ready to work!  Friday Dec. 9, 5-9pm, Sat Dec. 10, 10am-2pm, Sun Dec. 11, 11am-2pm, $250 for the workshop

Prerequisites (these are negotiable)
• Ability to do two consecutive climbs.
3 straight-arm straddle inversions in a row.
• Familiarity with wheel downs and rolllups
- 3 pull-ups in a row (on rope).
- A consistent rope or vertical aerial apparatus
practice.

Bio:
Erika Radcliffe is a rope artist currently based in Las Vegas. She is a graduate of the Intensive program at the New England Center for Circus Arts (2017) and has been training rope for seven years. Erika has performed around the US and helps to organize the US Rope Meeting in Vermont. She loves rope (and coffee) and is very excited to be visiting JAJAPDXCircus this December!
