My 9-year-old son 🤍 I’m still learning, but I’ll never stop showing up. Parents—reminder to give yourself grace.

“Quick reality as a parent:

I lost control.
I lashed out at my son.

I paused. I prayed.
I took accountability.
I gave myself grace.

Then I did the work.

I looked at what triggered me.
I honored his feelings.
I calmly set boundaries.

He’s allowed to express himself.
He’s not allowed to be disrespectful.
Both can be true.

Parenting isn’t about never messing up — it’s about what you do next. 🤍
