Today marks a monumental milestone for our family! 💙 After enduring 7 LONG evaluations (each lasting 7-12 hours) for our son, Sione, we finally have a definitive diagnosis that will guide us in creating a solid plan to support him in every part of his life. This moment is the result of relentless persistence, countless prayers, and unwavering hope.

Getting here wasn’t easy. We faced rejection after rejection from specialists, school administrators, and even well-meaning people who said, “He’s just fine, it’s just his age.” But deep down, I knew. I knew in my heart that there was more to the story and more I could do for him.

There were days when doubt crept in—moments where I questioned myself as a mother because Sione is our only son. But even then, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something needed to be addressed, that I was his voice in a world that didn’t see what I saw.

Today, I stand in awe of his strength and resilience. This isn’t just a diagnosis—it’s the key to unlocking the support he needs to truly “fill the measure of his creation.” The road ahead is filled with hope, resources, and a renewed determination to help him thrive in every way possible.

To all the mothers out there fighting for your children, feeling isolated or unheard, please know you’re not alone. There is ALWAYS a way forward. Trust your instincts, advocate fiercely, and keep the faith. Our children are worth every ounce of the fight!
