KDR x LSS NYC: “Deep Sea, Swallow Me” by Alexis Trice 

KDR is excited to announce a special pop-up exhibition at 54E Henry Street, in collaboration with Long Story Short Gallery in New York City. The solo exhibition by painter Alexis Trice, titled “Deep Sea, Swallow Me”, opens on January 24th from 6-8 PM and will remain on view through March 9th.

Trice’s work draws inspiration from the enigmatic power of the sea, taking viewers on a transformative journey where light and shadow merge, embodying both promise and peril. Through vibrant imagery and thoughtful symbolism, her paintings explore the subconscious, evoking wonder and introspection. “Deep Sea, Swallow Me” is a visual and emotional exploration, uncovering the hidden layers of the natural world and their parallels within ourselves.

About Alexis Trice
Born in New York in 1982, Trice earned her BFA in Painting from the School of Visual Arts in 2004. Her work has been featured in renowned galleries, including Arch Enemy Arts (Philadelphia, PA), Roq La Rue Gallery (Seattle, WA), and Visions West Contemporary (Bozeman, MT). She lives and works in New York City.
