We caught up with Jack Hughes ahead of his olympics debut and talked about when he fell in love with hockey; playing with his parents and brothers Quinn and Luke: his workouts; playiing for the njdevils; gearing up to compete in the Olympics: his THE 9LIST ROUTIN3S GAM3DAY; mucinex_us Mucinex Kickstart; and more!

On the Olympics, he told us, "it's just a huge dream of mine. You know, I grew up as a proud American, so it's a big dream to be able to play for your country in the Olympics and it's the biggest stage in hockey. So to be able to be part of it is something that I have dreamed of my entire life and I'm excited to be able to go through that process."

Over the season, he has a ton of nights travelling and always moving around from city to city., and you get sick sometimes. "I feel like Mucinex is at every locker room.  Players are taking Mucinex for multi-symptom relief so that they can feel better and feel ready to try to be able to do their best," he told us. The Mucinex Kickstart to Greatness Campaign, with the American Hockey Foundation, has donated $20K to help young Amefrican kids playing hockey.

For GAM3DAY, he gears up and has a morning skate in an empty stadium so he can low key enjoy hearing things; he also gets treatment and sleeps in a little longer. For Afternoon, he gets a pregame meal in around noon-1230p; a midday nap; and looks forward to a cold tub right before the game. At night, he's starving post game so he grabs a meal; relaxes with his feet up and hangs; and goes to sleep really tired and can feel good for the next morning.
