All our senses tingled at one of our best dinners of the year at indn.nyc 💖💖😝

We loved the innovative cocktail pairings with each dish (one had paneer inside which was next level). The first course made our taste buds sing, and each dish thereafter had clean and fresh well-cooked flavors that had modern spins on some tried and true flavors. Tne hospitality was warm, attentive and fun. We highly recommend this spot!!

We had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Owner and Beverage Dir simran_bakshi to talk more about the restaurant. 

"My focus has always been on creating concepts that balance originality with operational excellence - designing guest journeys, developing  menus that tell a story, and ensuring every sensory design aligns with the vision," he told us.

He noted kanika_v_bakshi is the creative force with design and brand space aesthetics and vickyvij7 (pioneer of NYC Indian dining including  Bukhara Grill) that they represent three generations of Indian dining to redefine Indian cuisine experiences in NYC. 

"We wanted to create someting New York hadn't seen yet," he proudly added. "[A] cocktail-driven restaurant where food is designed to pair with drinks, not the other way around.. we saw the opportunity to present Indian food in a more social, bar-forward setting - bold, fun, unapologetically Indian.. elevated for modern."

"The goal was simple: drinks first, food second - both world class.. feel[ing] like an adult playground - refined, energetic and distinctly ours. The kind of place where you can grab a cocktail, share a plate and stay late," he noted. 

The entire menu is between spice, acid and richness, he pointed out. Between boldness and restraint - true poetry you definitely notice and appreciate. 

Recommended drinks are Paneer Panic (inspired by saag paneer), Pink City, Red Flags, and Butterface. For eats, get the Yakhni Pulao, Traditional Butter Chicken, and Pudina Lachha Parantha and also Nasta snacks of Poha, Anda Curry, and Vada Pao. Desserts were super tasty, though we had little room, Shahi Tukda was amazing, also Jalebi with Rabri.
