In On The Dancefloor we chatted with mattsteffanina, a Co-Founder of the dncracademy and a top choreographer who has worked with a umber of phenomenal artists including taylorswift, meghantrainor, and jasonderulo to name a few. He is also a DJ who has been dropping songs that are feel good in nature. We talk about his creative process and upcoming projects that he is involved in.

"It's surreal sometimes. Coming from a small town in Virginia, I never imagined I'd share the stage or studio with artists I grew up watching. What means the most to me isn't just the star power, it's the fact that these collaborations validate all the hours that I put in dancing in my basement. It also taught me that no matter how big someone is, the best artists stay grounded and collaborative," he shared with us.

His creative process in creating music always starts with a feeling, often a vocal, chord progression, or life moment. He' visual, so often he imagines the music video or live performance when building the track. He debuted a sub-label from spinninrecords and One Hundred: Night Drive. 

IYKYK, was cool to recount winning S28 of theamazingrace, which pushed him physically, mentally, and emotionally. "Winning Season 28 was was a dream come true, but the real prize was the growth and perspective I gained from seeing the world through so many different cultures," he told us
