What are you #willing to #sacrifice to land your dream #job as a #softwareengineer 👨‍💻👩‍💻???
...
For me, I chose not to have a “life” 💃 then so I can have the #life that I have now.

It all started here in San Francisco 😊

After months of #research, I decided to attend a #coding #bootcamp Prep program at appacademyio

It was an evening class Monday-Friday from 6-9pm

I #learned the #basics of #JavaScript, what things like the #terminal and code #editors, IDEs were 🤣🤣🤣
...
It was a #struggle #balancing early #morning #college #classes, part-time job, and the coding bootcamp prep #program.
Here's a #preview of what a #typical day looked like:

4am - 4:30am get ready ☕ ~ 30 mins commute to the gym

5am - 6am gym 🏋️‍♀️ ~10 mins commute to school

7am - 11am classes ~15 mins commute to work

12pm - 3:30pm work ~1:30 - 3 hrs ( San Jose - San Francisco ) rush hour 😒 commute to coding bootcamp prep program

6pm- 9pm coding bootcamp prep ( I usually stay until 10pm) ~ 1 hour commute back home 🏡

11pm-1am homework 📝💻 It was tough 😥😣 but looking back, it sure paid off 😎

#Bytesized #tip for today is:

Delayed gratification is key driver of success 🤑
