✨Success isn’t just about how high you rise — it’s about how many others rise with you.

Last weekend was nostalgic as I had the privilege of serving once again as Team Lead, Programme & Content Sub-Committee for Ibom Ignite — third edition in a row.

Curating content that resonates with our theme and identifying the right speakers was mentally demanding — but deeply fulfilling. It required teamwork, reflection, and tapping into our network of professionals and friends who share the passion for youth development.

Two of such remarkable individuals — Jide Sipe (Group Head, Brand Transformation & Digital Marketing, Bank of Industry) and Otega Ogra (Special Assistant on Digital/New Media to the Presidency) — evoked powerful memories of our GTBank days at Plural House, Oyin Jolayemi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Back then, they fondly called me Oga Charlie — and despite the lofty heights they’ve now attained, they still do. That humility and connection remind me that true success is measured by how many others grow alongside you.

GTBank’s Communication & External Affairs Group gave us a platform for self-expression, taught us perseverance, discipline, and the power of self-belief.
