My thoughts on August 1 at 00:30

(I captured this picture yesterday, displaying a truly breathtaking sunset. )

As the month changes, I find myself standing in the dimming night, observing the tranquil lake. 

The fading light still provides enough illumination in horizon, allowing me to discern the enchanting outline of the ancient forest across the water. 

Amidst the pine and tall fir trees, the most brilliant stars twinkle, adorning the sky. This darkening, exquisite night foreshadows the forthcoming autumn. Reflected in the mirror-like, calm water, I notice a graceful elder creature, and soon I identify its artist - the silhouette of Kuikka (black-throated loon). 

Slowly, Kuikka's outline glides, creating ripples that dance upon the water's surface. The gleaming water causes the starry reflections from above to twirl around Kuikka. In the midst of the otherwise tranquil late summer night, Kuikka releases a melodic, high-pitched call that resonates. 

I peer at the radiant stars overhead, contemplating the preciousness of witnessing and encountering the narratives that nature unfurls before us in every fleeting moment. Each day presents itself as a new book, and every passing hour marks a fresh page in this captivating chronicle. ✨
