Yoga, rooted in the Sanskrit ‘Yuj’ meaning ‘to join’ or ‘to unite,’ is a spiritual discipline and subtle science seeking harmony between mind and body. It is both an art and a science of healthy living. Derived from ‘Yuj,’ Yoga, according to Yogic scriptures, guides the practitioner toward the union of individual consciousness with Universal Consciousness. This signifies a seamless harmony between mind and body, as well as between humanity and nature.
