It reminds me of an adult spaghetti-o’s and it’s been such a fun shape to cook with! Today’s recipe is similar to my sausage ragu, except I didn’t have any cherry tomatoes so I supplemented with tomato paste + chicken broth. This dish was so good and the perfect weeknight meal for you and your family! Recipe can be found below and make sure to save this post to easily revert back. Enjoy!! Ingredients -2 cups of Ditalini (@barillaus) -1 pack of ground Italian sausage -1 onion, diced -4 to 5 cloves of garlic, minced -2 TB of Italian seasoning -4 TB of tomato paste (@centofinefoods) -2/3 cup of chicken broth -1 cup of heavy cream -1 to 2 TB of butter -1/2 cup of Parmesan -salt and pepper to taste Heat EVOO over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and cook until fragrant. Add Italian sausage and brown. Season with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Add tomato paste and mix. Add chicken broth and heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add butter and mix. Finish with parmesan with a splash of pasta water. Cook pasta until al dente. Add directly to pan with another splash of pasta water and parmesan.
