the best way to get your kids to eat veggies is to hide them in the sauce - follow me for more parenting advice 🙃

one of my favorite kitchen tricks is stashing away these veggie bone broth cubes in the freezer for meals! instead of putting the veggies on the boy’s plates, i use these cubes and sneak them into marinara sauce, mac and cheese and even their quesadillas (they think it’s just extra cheesy!!).

Recipe can be found below or comment VEGGIE CUBES and I’ll send it directly to your inbox!!

Ingredients

-24 oz of bone broth
-5 carrots, peeled and chopped finely
-1 onion, diced
-2 zucchini, peeled and chopped finely
-4 garlic cloves, minced

Sauté the veggies over medium heat over olive oil. I usually put the carrots in first as they take the longest to soften. Next I bring the pot to medium high and add the bone broth bringing it to a simmer. I cook the veggies until they’re soft then transfer to a blender. Blend until smooth, add to freezer ice cube trays and freeze. When I’m ready to use them in a pasta dish I just melt it in the pan and add pasta with a splash of pasta water and mix! Enjoy!
