This is what Grace looks like, this is years of healing and dying to ourselves just to have the marriage we always knew God desired for us. 

The first five years of our marriage nearly ended us. When we look back at how we started, we’re sure no one thought we would make it past year one. No one talks about that how hard marriage can be when you have no blueprint and when trauma robs you of the goodness that God intended for you to experience in oneness with your spouse. I’ve spent years unpacking and growing just to have this, and my husband has spent years laying down all of him and loving me in every season of our lives together. 

Because truly what God intended for good, the enemy has had every intention to destroy… but the first five years wrecked us only to build us up even stronger the last five years. 

God is kind y’all, I can’t wait for what the next ten years looks like for us.
