## Caption

I hope I give the vibe that making changes to your apartment as a parent takes a lot more time than what creators show it to be on here. However, I hope it’s also showing you that the change & time is worth it, especially when it improves your mental health. 

This is part 1 of the kitchen transformation. I started with the small details because I wanted to make sure everything would come together well with the paint we chose. The color is @behrpaint midsummer gold. 

I still can’t believe these $12 lights from @ikeausa look this amazing !! I’m glad we hired our friend to install them to make sure they were on correctly. @gabe.ts has a small business in handy man work & he actually ended up changing our bedroom light also. @allhandsinnynj 

The cabinet knobs changing from sliver to black just brighten the white. Bought 20 of them for $23. 

The wood for the shelves from @homedepot were each $13. So we stained them to make sure they resist any kitchen stains or wetness. 

The back space came in a pack of 4 for $29.98. Super renter friendly and easy to install and remove. @homedepot  @smarttiles.official
