When you realize 24 hours before Christmas your kids didn’t get you a gift…and you suggest DIY. I was not prepared for this level of creativity!🤪 This is on me 😅

Using whatever was in the craft bin, Callie decided to make me a Baby Elmo because she overheard me once talk about how quickly everyone is growing up and how I miss the kids being babies. With my very own adorable Baby Elmo (that she expects me to sleep with 😅), I’ll also have a baby with me. Oh yah, she also apologized for Elmo being 2 colors because she ran out of the red furry material mid-project.

Btw, can we just be honest here and admit that every mom has a face for handmade gifts?!🤣 If you rewatch this video, you’ll see me go through many! I’m confused in beginning before the reveal, then surprised and caught off guard after the reveal, then confused and wasn’t sure if Callie was serious when she said she wants me to sleep with it every night or if she was low-key trolling/joking with me because…well tween humor! All I can say is that her gift is absolutely memorable, creative (seriously, she made a no-sew doll in less than 24 hours), and will definitely be part of our Christmas tree decorations moving forward! 🎄🤣
