In my recent engagements, either in learning sessions or team retreats. The subject of teams and what really drives high-performance has been a major concern. It is during these diverse conversations that we stumbled on this quote. 

In my opinion, when teams underperform, the blame often falls on the wrong people - the team members. Leaders should take responsibility for designing and leading their teams to success.
