🚧Long Post Ahead🚧
•
From here on out, I will be posting once a week on a topic related to something medical after teaming up with The Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing as 1 of 12 nursing InstaCrew team members to help spread the word and answer questions for those wanting to become Board Certified!
•
“𝙏𝙤 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙. 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙙!” -Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Success can be measured in so many different ways. Whether you are a nurse or not, success can easily come from something big or something small. What is one thing you cannot go without during an entire shift? Going without this one thing leaves you feeling like that shift wasn’t as successful as the previous.
•
For me, it has to do with asking questions (simple or complex) until I find an answer. Since I can remember, I have always made it a personal goal to learn at least 2 new things every shift that will improve the care I provide each patient I come into contact with! I have always been taught 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒𝙇𝙀𝘿𝙂𝙀 is 𝙋𝙊𝙒𝙀𝙍 and since my first day in the #EmergencyDepartment , I have witnessed the truth behind this phrase every shift! You can’t fake knowledge and there is always something to learn if you take the opportunity to do so. Don’t be scared to take that next step forward (baby steps or not) and learn something new or chase down those certifications you have always thought about but have never gone for it.
•
If you are wanting to learn more about #EmergencyNursing , go check out 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙤𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜’𝙨 new Instagram account BCENCertifications and follow the links for information on becoming a board certified nurse. Check out #BCENInstaCrew as 11 fellow colleagues continue to post their success stories and answer questions asked by #nurses and #nursingstudents from all over! •
The pride, sense of accomplishment, and self-confidence that come with knowing you are at the very top of your profession deliver unparalleled personal satisfaction. If you have ever thought about taking one of the BCENCertifications robust certification exams as I mentioned above but have not yet done it, 𝘿𝙊 𝙄𝙏!
