About a week ago, hallmarkhmo, one of the  investee companies within the Consolidated Hallmark HoldCo, held a stakeholders engagement meeting with different players across the Healthcare Value Chain. 

There are so many highlights and pointers to growth opportunities in the space. I'll share a few;

1. There's increased focus on the healthcare sector with a growing number of players addressing challenges and harnessing opportunities.

2. A growing opportunity area is in data - how can we better capture, analyse, transfer, and build intelligent solutions around patient data whilst addressing privacy concerns.

3. The consciousness for wellness is growing, especially amongst the younger generation. This growth trajectory for this lifestyle aspiration will continue to throw up opportunities. A worthy example is the exchange of equity holdings in ifitnessng. Will this spur a round of investment interest in other notable brands in the space anytime soon? 

4. Are there more opportunities for saas platforms focused on the healthcare sector?

5. There'll be opportunities for collaboration in the future.
