## Caption

Here are the main 2 ways I propagate pups from my mother pilea plants! 

1. Water propagation - great for growing roots on the cuttings that have no roots to start. Once they grow a couple inches of roots, you can pot it into soil.

2. Soil propagation - the works great when the cutting already has some soil roots from being separated from the mother plant. I plant the cutting in soil and water a little more often for the first few weeks to get the plant adjusted and to have it grow more roots before I taper off to my normal watering schedule.
