## Caption

BASIL SALT:  Now is the time to preserve your herbs.  These are the Italian basil and we are preserving with just two ingredients, basil and salt, with a 1:1 ratio.  The oven was preheated to 250 F for 30 minutes and processed in the food processor for a few minutes to break up the large pieces.  We cannot wait to enjoy this over toast, salads, and meats.
