Behind the scenes of how i prep and go through a content day ⚡️ 

What we use for my content:
— microphones from Amazon (these are the best i have found so far, the quality is amazing)
— we record on an iPhone 16 pro max in 4k 30 or 60 depending on lighting 
— mag safe tripod from Amazon 

Recording the consultation: 
— when i first started consultations i stood next to the client, i didn’t like that i was so much taller than the client. I now sit on my stool next to the client and record, that feels more natural because that’s how i work during a color service. 
— i make sure to clarify with the client if they have inspo pictures what they like and do not like from each picture. I then go through my 3 P’s for the roadmap of my custom color with them.

Before every content day, Riley and I talk about what videos we will make and every piece that goes into it each one 

Capturing the after shot :
— i am VERY particular on the after video because this is the most important video to get. We want the hair to be full but also show the color perfectly.
