This one thing shouldn’t be news to you. *WARNING* a thread…

By now, you SHOULD know that there is a RACIAL wage gap in our country.

(I trust you can dig up the stats on your own) 

This inequality creates huge economic impact within BIPOC communities, that not only affect quality of life, but also segregate access to growth opportunities.

AKA systemic injustice.

This becomes even more problematic when you add sexism to the pot.

In simpler terms… women of color are most at risk. 

When my friend & colleague nicoleayang reached out to serve on her review board for her wavesofchangegrant grant, I felt called.

As a creative. As a woman. As a person of color. As a human.

Nicole is a heck of a designer & even more fantastic soul that is using her talent to enact change. To do something that is natural to her, but transformative for someone else with so much already against them.
