5 years ago, I could follow a recipe and cook a decent meal, but I wanted more—I wanted to really master cooking. So I took cooking classes, and it changed everything.

From learning Singaporean food like Curry Fish Head to mastering Peranakan dishes like Ayam Buah Keluak & Babi Pongteh, I fell in love with the process. Now, making Hainanese Chicken Rice or a rich bowl of Vietnamese Pho is so much easier and maybe tastier than buying take-out 😜

Cooking isn’t just about eating—it’s about self-care, learning, and creating. Living alone means having the space to experiment around and cook whenever. And to me, that’s a privilege which is why I spend most of my time in the kitchen 😂 Every meal I make is an act of self-love hehe ❤️
