In continuation of National Volunteer Week, meet Tatiana Raposo!

Tatiana is a fourth-year student, studying psychology at the University of Winnipeg. She started volunteering in September of 2017.

“I find volunteering with Let’s Talk Science very rewarding and an interactive way to teach kids about science. I enjoy getting to educate kids about STEM while they're having fun doing cool experiments. I think science can be a scary subject for some children and this is a cool way of showing them that anyone can do science and that it exists all around us at all times.” -
Some of her favourite volunteer memories happened at the Children's Museum, where she is a program leader.

“Most involve teaching a kid something science related and having them bring over their entire family. Parents, grandparents, brothers, and sisters so that they can teach them in detail what they just learned and have them try out the experiment themselves. It's great to see how excited they are to learn.”.
