Over 50% of the population in the coastal region of Kenya are young people.

This means that there is a vast potential for their contribution to the economic development of the region and the country as a whole.

I am excited to have spearheaded the - Kilifi County X plpafrica Digital skills training Scholarship launch and MOU signing, where we awarded the Power Learn Project Software Development Scholarship to 500 young people in the county. 

This is a significant milestone in our journey to #1MillionDevs4Africa, and I am confident that these young people will use their skills to build a brighter future for themselves, their communities, and the country.

I am grateful to Hon. Governor gideonmungaro for his leadership and commitment to providing quality education to young people in Kilifi County and his team led by ckk_kenya and Chief Lerine  for making it an effortless journey to bring this to fruition, this is what Public - Private Partnerships are made of! 

To all our partners who made their way to Kilifi County thank you too.

Looking forward to taking this through to other communities across Africa too!
