I carry a plethora of isms within me , not as labels, but as living forces that shape how I move through the world.

✨ Optimism whispers that tomorrow can be brighter.
🌱 Humanism grounds me in our shared worth.
🎨 Individualism reminds me to carve out my own lane.
🖤 Realism anchors me in what is.
🔥 Activism pushes me to change what must be.

But it doesn’t stop there. There are isms I wrestle with, isms I reject, and isms I’ve inherited without ever choosing. Some uplift. Some oppress. Some contradict each other. Yet somehow, they all sit inside me, shaping a self that is both fractured and whole.

I am not one ism—I am the tension, the balance, the coexistence of many.

So here’s the question I return to:
👉🏽 If the “self” is built on a multitude of borrowed isms, then is authenticity something we discover… or something we create?
