Mango Horchata Recipe:
 
Ingredients:
 
1 cup rice (long-grain preferred)
 
3 cups water
 
2 ripe mangos, peeled and diced
 
1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
 
1 cinnamon stick & Anise
 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 
Pinch of salt
 
Additional water for blending
 
Ice cubes (optional)
 
Mango slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)
 
Instructions:
Prepare the Rice:
 
Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
In a bowl, combine the rinsed rice with 3 cups of water. Let it soak for at least 3 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
Blend the Ingredients:
 
In a blender, add the soaked rice along with its soaking water, granulated sugar, cinnamon stick, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
