the wealth gap coming into college especially an ivy league institution can be very discouraging, seeing how you have to work for everything you get and others don’t or may not have to work as hard. but it builds grit to actively pursue your goal & achieve it, without hand outs. and being that i made this video my junior year of college & now im 6 months from graduation, i can truly say its beautiful to see how i went from first generation low income to just first generation- ON MY OWN.
